A Comprehensive Massage Therapy Curriculum

Our holistic approach to massage therapy integrates a full range of foundational skills to ensure you are fully-prepared to identify specific needs and facilitate the healing process.

Introduction to Massage

You’ll learn fundamental theory and the skills to become proficient in client communication and massage applications. This course provides a strong foundation for the rest of the program.

Axial

The Axial Course provides students a comprehensive guide through the torso, neck and head. Anatomy & Physiology classes discuss all of the skeletal, muscular and soft tissue structures in that region.

Upper Extremity

The Upper Extremity Course provides students a comprehensive guide through the shoulder, arm, wrist and hand. Anatomy & Physiology classes discuss all of the skeletal, muscular and soft tissue structures of that region.

Lower Extremity

The Lower Extremity Course provides students a comprehensive guide through the hips, leg, ankle and foot. Anatomy & Physiology classes discuss all of the skeletal, muscular and soft tissue structures of that region.

Health Sciences

This massage therapy course deepens your knowledge of the human body on a physical level. To facilitate whole-body wellness, you must be able to understand how the body’s individual parts work in concert.

Medical

The Medical Course is designed to support our students while encouraging current industry trends; as we see massage therapy enter all aspects of the medical field. Oncology and Manual Lymphatic Drainage are the keystone to this course.

Clinic Internship

Under the guidance of professional massage therapists, you’ll work with real clients in a public clinic setting. This is where you refine you skills and gain the invaluable experience that builds confidence and prepares you for a bright future as a professional.

State Authorization Disclosure: The Massage Therapy Program goes above the State of Georgia’s Massage Therapy minimum requirements of 500 hours. Our program, once completed, qualifies students to sit for the licensure exam for Georgia which is the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). The MBLEx is accepted in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
