Financial Aid

Financial Aid is Available to those who Qualify

There are a variety of options to assist you in covering the cost of massage school. Atlanta School of Massage is eligible to participate in the following federal aid programs:  Pell Grant, SEOG Grant, Subsidized Stafford Direct Loan, Unsubsidized Stafford Direct Loan, and Federal Parent PLUS Direct Loan.

Federal Title IV Financial Aid Assistance is available for qualified applicants.  All applicants who are interested in financial assistance are encouraged to register as early as possible in order to begin the financial aid process. There are many variables in determining eligibility for federal funds.  Marital status, income, number of dependents, value of assets, or other personal circumstances may all have some bearing on eligibility and how much money may be awarded. Our Financial Aid staff can help you apply for assistance.

The U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs has approved Atlanta School of Massage to accept the Montgomery GI Bill benefits for qualifying veterans. Beginning October 1, 2011, Atlanta School of Massage will also be approved to accept the Post 911 GI Bill. Students must apply for these benefits prior to enrollment and must submit the approval letter and a DD214 form to our Financial Aid staff. The approval process usually requires a minimum of 30 days.

Atlanta School of Massage has been added to the GoArmyED.com portal, which allows Active Duty soldiers to request their Tuition Assistance (TA) online, eliminating wait time and reducing time away from duty. This will assist soldiers 24/7 with tuition payments and fees with a simple click of the mouse. GoArmyEd is a sound strategy for centralized information management and virtualized self-service. It enables payments to be received directly to our school from the Army for Tuition Assistance (TA). Once payment is authorized, the transaction is completed in three to five business days, making it a smooth transition for students.

Other funding sources are available. Naturally, individuals borrowing money should check with various lenders and borrow at the lowest interest rate and fees and most favorable repayment terms available. Credit unions, personal banks, 401K funds, family members, and credit cards may offer favorable terms.

Payment plans are available and can be designed to fit your needs to cover the cost of massage school. Options range from paying the balance in its entirety before starting to affordable monthly payments.

Net Price Calculator

What will it cost to attend Atlanta School of Massage?

Here at Atlanta School of Massage, we want to provide prospective students and parents a clear picture of what it will cost to become a Massage Therapist. The net price calculator is a tool for students and parents to use to get a meaningful estimate of total costs, based on your particular financial circumstances and anticipated aid. Please understand that the information you receive from the calculator is a broad estimate and may vary from student to student depending on personal factors.

How does the Net Price Calculator work?

To estimate your net cost, the Net Price Calculator first looks at the cost of attendance, which includes tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, transportation and personal expenses. Then, using financial data you enter into the calculator, the calculator estimates the amount that you/your family would be expected to contribute to pay for college expenses. Finally, the calculator evaluates your eligibility for financial aid (need-based) by matching your financial and personal characteristics to the criteria used to determine financial aid awards. Please be reminded that this is only an estimate of financial aid eligibility. Final eligibility for federal and state financial aid is determined by the U.S. Department of Education. Actual financial aid awards, if approved, may differ from this estimated figure.

How can the calculator help me?

Net price is the key to understanding what a specific school is likely to cost and allows you to compare your out-of-pocket expense for one school to another.

Getting started

Completing the calculator should take just a few minutes of your time. You will need to answer some basic questions about you/your family’s financial situation so it might be helpful to have recent tax forms or pay stubs on hand before you begin.

Please read. By clicking below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price; it is an estimate based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance.
